Starting on Moodle 2.0 Beta version at Lincoln University

After a number of years in the development process the learning content management system we use at Lincoln University, Moodle, is about to be re-launched in a completely revised 2.0 version. Here at Flexible Learning Initiative (FLI) we are participating – along with colleagues in IT and Teaching Learning Services, as well as users from CPIT and University of Canterbury – in trialing the new system. Over the next few months we’ll be reporting here on the differences and advantages the upgrade will bring to users of Learn (our local version of Moodle) here at LU.   We hope to bring you links to sites where we are setting up mock courses and chances for you to explore the functions of the upgrade.

Moodle 2.0 is expected to go live at LU in the first half of 2011.  Keep watching this site!
